  While it’s hard think about the fall during the dog days of summer, this fall season’s fashions are quickly making their first appearance to the retail fashion market.  Day dreaming about the next season can seem a little overwhelming in the middle of July, so I decided to bring you a sneak peek of the current fall trends for handbags.  High-end retailers like Neiman Marcus and established stores like Nine West, feature a unique selection of exotic handbags with three major trends emerging from their inventory.

The handbag is unfairly deemed as the after thought to any outfit, but in most cases it’s exactly the opposite.   As an avid fashion street style people watcher, I believe the handbag says a lot about your personality and character.  For example, people who carry high-end designer bags with obvious designer monograms (i.e. LV or Gucci GGs) want to establish their social status and demand attention.  While people who carry uniquely designed bags want to showcase their ability to be fashionably avant-garde.  

SCHOOOOOL’S OUT FOR SUMMER!! (*IMAGINE Alice Cooper classic tune blaring on the radio in the background)  For most of our lives summer is synonymous for no school, vacation, and good ‘ol slip and slide, snow cone fun in the sun.  These simple pleasures and memories from our adolescence are something we continue to strive for as adults sans the three-month vacation.
