We all know that exotic skins have been long making a debut this season, but Alexandra de Curtis has taken skins to a whole new level. Using salmon skin leather instead of any alternatives, the Rita Box Clutch will let you adopt the animal skin trend with a clear conscious, as it encompasses all things "versatility, beauty and luxury." Alexandra believes that the Nanai salmon skin is a "socially responsible material" that still has the ability to look (and feel!) luxurious. Available February 2012.

This past weekend Oprah took over Atlanta, Georgia for an O You! event, a day dedicated just for you! Handbag designer Danielle Nicole was nominated to make 5,500 bags for the event. I certainly wouldn't mind having that many bags by Danielle Nicole, as they are all chic, affordable and functional. Pictured above, Oprah signing her bag.

You may not remember (or may not have been alive) when America's first international airline, Pan American Airlines, was established in 1927. The airline represented all things luxurious and glamorous, with celebrities and rock stars of the era embracing all that the airline had to offer: "first-class amenities, stewardesses, and of course, the Pan Am bag."
