Alright bagistas, we all know that the tribal trend is nothing new on the summer handbag scene, and here's why: it's brilliant. It takes that natural outdoors summer feeling, and imbibes it with that which is both pretty and primitive. Be it wools, woods, leathers, or a combination thereof, this trend aims its focus on a breezy bohemian lifestyle. One of the many things I love about this trend is the fact that it lends itself to a plethora of styling options; call it the trend that plays well with others.
Music is in the air this month in California’s very own “City of Festivals,” Indio, California. Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, commonly known simply as Coachella, kicks-off the festivities today with a three-day extravaganza of rock music, art, films and camping ending on April 17th. The musical mayhem ensues with Stagecoach, a country music festival, which takes place April 30th – May 1st.

The concept of the man-purse is an ongoing debate in fashion and style, and no one can seem to agree on whether it's a fashion-forward convenience or a fashion faux pas. Men's handbags and purses are all the norm in Europe, and Americans from larger metropolis cities have been catching on to this trend as of late. No, I do not expect some rural Cowboy from Montana to be sporting this trend any time soon, but men throughout such cities as New York and Los Angeles have been wearing this trend in the most masculine ways possible.
Don’t let thoughts of summer vacation coming to an end, and the beginning of the school year bring you down. Instead, imagine how fabulous you’ll look on campus with your new school bag (and your tan physique, of course)! I’m sure you’re aware that a school bag doesn’t necessarily mean a backpack. There are other options spacious enough for your books and laptop- such as totes and messengers. Nowadays, you can find them in a variety of preppy, colorful, sporty, and eco-friendly styles made by brands like Juicy Couture, Marc by Marc Jacobs, LeSportsac, and L.A.M.B. Need help?
