I love my laptop, but taking it to work or to school always means dealing with the hassle of carrying a bulky laptop bag in addition to my usual handbag. The handbag database and shopping website brought some of their fabulous inventory to the Butterfly Studio, a luxury salon and boutique located in Manhattan's Flatiron District. Shoppers were invited to nibble on snacks and sip on sangria as they browsed through the same gorgeous handbags found on the website.

Beirn New York showcased some of its latest handbags and clutches as a primary sponsor of designer and Project Runway Season 4 finalist Jillian Lewis' Spring/Summer 2010 presentation at the Audi Forum in Manhattan on September 9th. Carried by stone-faced models dressed in a subdued palette of silvers, golds, black, lavender, and cremes, Beirn's brightly hued selection of their trademark watersnake bags stood out, serving as the perfect eye-catching accessories to Lewis' newest collection.

Fashion's Night Out was so huge that the Beirn New York team was in two places at once! Not only were they representing Beirn at Bergdorf Goodman, but they were also offering custom batik monogram prints on any new "Jenna" bag purchase at the Henri Bendel boutique on 56th Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan. Shoppers had a wide array of styles and colors of "Jenna" to choose from even before adding the monogram print for that extra personalized touch to make their Beirn bag a truly one-of-a-kind piece.
