Joy Fabiano is releasing their third line of eco-friendly bags with a retro-fitted twist. Rachel Sanches, designer of Joy Fabiano, has incorporated Japanese culture into her Summer 2010 upcycled collection. Remnants of WWII Japanese silks have been woven onto luxurious leathers in multiple styles to create an Asian fusion with modern style.
The fold over style is my favorite for clutches right now which is why the
Camilla Clutch is my top choice from this collection. Soft yellow leather is wrapped in a bursting flower pattern silk with vibrant hues. I love this bag for any daytime summer cotton dress.
For those of you obsessed with the cross-body style (which who isn't?), check out the
Letitia. White leather with the vintage Japanese flowers attached in an applique style, make this bag funky and functional.
Check out this quick interview with Rachel Sanches herself about her eco-friendly approach to fashion.
