Designer Spotlight: Fulani

Souadou Barry, founder of Fulani Handbags, discovered her passion for designing through her career as an architect! Her line is named after the Fulanis, a nomadic population rooted in Egypt. Fulani's exotic fabrics and patterns are inspired by the different places throughout the world that Souadou has lived in! As Souadou says, "I lived in Africa, Europe and America; I am multicultural. I am a designer and I love to create beautiful things that make women feel special. My inspiration comes from all the places I've been and the place I come from." Souadou Barry truly ensures that Fulani handbags are both functional and classic! Fulani bags range from soft leathers, luxury hardware, and beautiful, colorful fabrics!

Be the next lady in red! The Amy Tote is best described as bold and striking! The red leather lining makes this structured tote stylish and appropriate for a powerful statement at work. We paired this with a form fitting black dress and black suede heels, this bag's red hue definitely needs to be the focal point of any outfit.

We love that Souadou Barry was inspired to create Fulani by different places around the world! Bagistas, what places inspire you?
