Meet Delmy, writer of the fabulous fashion blog Fashion Bananas. Once I discovered her blog I literally went BANANAS! (a la Rachel Zoe style) Her fashion sense is amazing and she has perfect taste in handbags. Yes, my one true love, Marc Jacobs. Once I saw her post featuring the Marc by Marc Jacobs Petal to the Metal Sasha, I knew I must contact her and feature her on this blog! Her blog is a refreshing mix of outfit posts, make up tutorials, and inspiring posts. What can I say, I just think she's got an amazing sense of style!
Handbago: When did you get into fashion?
Delmy: I have loved fashion since the age of seven. My mom's Spanish fashion magazines were the only "books" I liked reading. But I'd say around the age of 16 is when I actually started wearing feminine clothes. Before it was al baggy jeans and sneakers.
I saw you have a lot of Marc bags, which is what I loved because he is my favorite! Who is your favorite handbag designer?
Thanks! I love Chloe bags and many other too, but for some reason every time I want a new bag Marc is always the one to catch my attention. Actually, I think all my bags are Marc Jacobs. I just love them!
What do you look for in a handbag?
It definitely has to be able to fit my world in it. The bigger the better it is for me. I'm not a fan of those small shoulder bags.
What is your favorite bag that you own and what is one bag that you wish you could own?
I think my favorite bag right now is my Sasha by Marc by Marc Jacobs. I wear it all the time. It can fit a second pair of shoes, my umbrella, magazines, and my camera! Oh but I would jump for joy if I could own the Mulberry Bayswater leather bag either in black or oak. A girl can dream right?
