Handbag Preview: gorjana's Latest Collections

Designer Gorjana Reidel, model turned designer has created not only an amazing collection of handbags but has built a lifestyle brand that includes delicate jewelry, beachy footwear and a new men's line called griffin. This brand had me at hello since their launch in 2006 and embodies the ease and under-stated glamour of the locals that reside in Laguna Beach, California where gorjana was founded.

gorjana (yes, the brand uses all lower case letters) describes itself as never trendy, but rather occupying a space between timeless elegance and contemporary relevance. Honestly? I couldn't describe it better myself. gorjana's goal is to collaborate effortlessly with a modern woman's wardrobe, the delicate designs balancing between classic form and alluring detail. In one word, poetic.

The Handbago team and I were over-the-top when we were invited to preview the latest collections at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. As you can see, I was in lust with the Perry Large Foldover in Bone/Green. Jen loved the Mott Foldover Clutch and Summer, well she was just excited to see navy making an appearance. We are excited about the coming launch of gorjana's new brother line, griffin. The boys will be happy to know that they'll be able to look just as cool as us without trying TOO hard with griffin's casual messengers, weekenders, wallets, key chains and leather wraps.
