Introducing the Christiane Barbagallo Handbag Collection

1940 was an epic year for designer, Christiane Barbagallo's great grandparents, Yolanda and Lyonel Aguilar because that was the year they founded Teneria Bataan, the largest tannery in Nicaragua, nestled in the historical city of Leon. It's were all the magic started and four generations later, Christiane is still sharing her love of craftsmanship and fine exotic leathers with the world.

It's safe to say that the single greatest gift my job gives me is the discovery of amazing hand held art, a.ka., handbags. I love being introduced to collections that inspire to bring out the more "fashionable" me, and Christiane Barbagallo bags do just that. Accoutrements of the arm, that's how I like to describe this entire collection which is made from the finest exotic skins and manufactured in the USA and Costa Rica where Barbagallo's family atelier is now located.

While I love the entire collection, I couldn't help but choose my favorite, the Python Kiki Clutch in Natural. Check out how I styled it, hope you love it, hope you shop it!

The Python Kiki Clutch is made with scaley python skin and Italian hardware. The Kiki features an interior open pocket and closes with a magnetic snap. Black suede lining adds even more luxury when looking for your lip gloss. I loved pairing my Python Kiki clutch with wedges and a cotton dress, love being comfortable but still appropriately dressy for both the office and drinks.

The Kiki Clutch made me feel uber sexy, powerful, fierce. I loved giving her a bit of an edge by accessorizing with leather cuffs and a chain link necklace.

I couldn't wait to take my Kiki Clutch out on the town, so we did a little shopping.
