Trendy Thursday: Exotic Styles and Animal Print Handbags

Bye-bye summer, hello fall! With summer nearing its end, it's only natural for a bagista to be on the lookout for up and coming fall handbag trends. That's why I've put together some of my favorite bags that fit perfectly with a huge handbag trend for fall: exotic styles and animal print. Being anything but subtle, these are for the fashionista who loves to add a bit of edge to her outfit.
Luxurious? Check. Trendy for fall? Check. Appropriate to wear all year round? Yes, please! This exotic beauty is the Capri Shoulder Bag by Fossati US. Made with python and lizard, the bag can be worn as a clutch or over the shoulder (don't you love it when designers give you the option?) I only like snakes and lizards if they're on my handbag or shoes, so this bag would be welcomed in my closet with open arms.

Did your latest summer trip to Africa inspire you to let out your wild side? No need to dress like you just walked out of a safari, just carry Sondra Roberts' Links and Leopard Flap Shoulder Bag and you'll be set. The crinkled patent material both adds a sheen and makes the bag look more exotic. Whether you pair it with your favorite little black dress or skinny jeans and heels, the bag's utility and versatility allows you to get the most out of it.

One of my favorite parts about working at Handbago is the fact that I can see firsthand how designers get creative through their bags, and Cassidy Randall has definitely proved that creativity is her forte. If you've never seen a clutch that turns into a tote, you're about to. The Krazy Snake bag easily adjusts from a clutch to a tote with the snap of a button. That's right, these two images you see is the same exact bag! This is perfect for the working woman who doesn't have enough hours in the day to go home and change before going out. Just wear the bag unbuttoned as a tote to work and when it's time to hit the bar with your girls, fold it and wear it as a clutch. Oh, and It doesn't hurt that the bag is exceptionally beautiful.

I truly believe that every girl needs at least one staple black bag in her collection, and guess what? Elaine Turner agrees with me...at least that's the vibe I'm getting with the Pamela Black Embossed Croc Leather Tote. You can never go wrong with a black tote, and with this one especially, you'll get the classic feel of a black tote with the luxury of exotic print and buckle detailing.
Just for fun, I thought I'd add in some accessories that fit the fall trend because, well, I find these to be just as necessary as handbags.
Forget about rummaging around your bag for business cards at the next networking event. This Leopard Lia Wrist Bag by Elly Clay is a bracelet and a mini bag all in one. Throw in some change for parking, credit cards, business cards, lip gloss and mints, this wristlet is a secret compartment that only you have the key to.

Want to be trendy with your laptop sleeve? I thought so. Here's a fashionable solution to a practical problem. Sharp Hill Designs has come out with a Zebra Pattern Laptop Sleeve for the fall season, but don't be hesitant to throw it on your laptop all year round. Available for 13" and 15" laptops, it's fully lined with three interior pockets and velcro closure, so don't even worry about your trusty laptop falling out. Electronics are taking over, so why not be stylish with what you carry it in?
