For the first time in Los Angeles, there will be a L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers sample sale, put on by shopping event company Savvy & Co.  The in-house sale will be held for two days only: Friday, August 13th from 8am to 8pm and Saturday, August 14th from 10am to 6pm.  The sale is located at Siren Studios, 6063 West Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, CA.  Prices are up to 75% off and range from $10 to $125 (if you are at all familiar with L.A.M.B. prices..this is huge!).  Celebrity fans of L.A.M.B.

Last month, Follis won the top prize for Best Handbag in Overall Style and Design at the Fourth Annual Independent Handbag Desginer Awards (IHDA).  The event took place on June 16, 2010 at Parsons the New School for Design in New York.  Shown above, the winning handbag is called the "Laced Julia" and is made of soft, chocolate brown leather, with crisscross lace detail and a clam shape.  The bag is part of Follis' Fall 2010 collection and will be released in September.
