Account Executive / Sales

Account executives proactively work with handbag designers to ensure their products on Handbago are up to date and listed correctly. Other responsibilites include monitoring sales, trends, social media, conducting research and finding new designers.

Fashion Writer / Blogger

Writers are responsible for researching the latest handbag news, trends, designers, videos and more. If it has to do with designer Handbags, we want to be the first to cover it. Must have excellent grammar skills, be comfortable in a fast paced environment, general knowledge of SEO and available tools, willingness to go after and create new exclusive stories. This position reports directly to our fashion editor. 

Online Marketing Manager

Online Marketing Managers are responsible for implementing SEO best practices, building our partner link exchange program and managing all social media. This includes our Facebook page, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn accounts. Also includes overseeing any advertising displayed on the site. Must be a go-getter and ready to interact and engage with our online community of handbag fans. Must be knowledable of mobile tools for social media as we cover many events away from our office.

Publicist

The publicity and promotions manager is responsible for overseeing all publicity, press releases and promotions on the Handbago website. This position is also responsible for contacting press, building relationships and pitching ideas for Handbag stories and/or cross promotions. Must be personable and have a general knowledge of writing for SEO. Experience with Cision is also a plus. 

PHP / MySQL Developer

The developer position is a critical role at Handbago. You'll work directly with the CEO to build, test and then implement new features. Work environment is extremely fast paced and we're looking for someone who can find creative, yet long term and scalable solutions. We're looking for a mid level PHP and MySQL developer. Must have experience with Drupal CMS system, experience with iPhone and facebook app development is a big plus. Should have knowledge of subversion and industry best practices for branch control.

Fashion Internships

Handbago offers a 3-month internship program for college students and recent grads looking to experience the fashion industry. Candidates must be located in the Los Angeles area. This is not an ordinary internship involving coffee or walking dogs. Our interns are emersed into an extremely active role with key responsibilities. To apply, create a 1-3 minute video about yourself and why you'd make a great addition to the Handbago team.
