Along with the bright colors we've been seeing in bags for spring, another trend emerging is the rugged military look. Dark, distressed, and complete with lots of fringe and tassels, the newest bags confirm that boyish can be girlish!

Following the nude handbag trend  for Spring/Summer 2010, Chloe offers up the former it-bag in a gorgeous new palette.  If the supple waxed-leather tote in the hot new trend color "putty" doesn't light your fire, than there are several other colors as well as a croc-embossed finish, that is sure to please any Bagista!

Well, it's that time of the year again; Spring!  It's time to put away all dark colors including black (my favorite) and embrace the new colors of Spring.  At last Spring has arrived along with its trendiest bags of the season.  

Along with a fabulous new collection for 2010 Spring/Summer, Gucci gives us some wonderful new options that offer up some shine without the overtly-feminine flash of sequins. This largely comes to us in the form of nickel-metal accents that emphasize the techno-feel of much of the collection. 

For Spring 2010 we'll be seeing bohemian details on a bunch of handbags.  From Carlos Santana and Lucky Brand to Cleobella and Junior Drake boho is an it bag to have. We can all assume the celeb-boho elite will be rocking all sorts of these bags. You know who they are, they're the likes of Sienna Miller, Mary-Kate Olson, Mischa Barton and Nicole Richie. These ladies are the ones who layer, and pay attention to detail. So look for bags that do the same.

Seeing as the Awards Season is winding down to a close and with the Oscars this weekend, the clutch is always the go to bag for any red carpet event.  Designers more than ever have found ways to redesign this classic staple.  Clutches are no longer just a place for your lipstick, but have become an essential piece to any outfit.  What's hot for Spring 2010 bags?  Florals are beautiful, bold colors pop but my favorite Spring trend is Nude bags!  This neutral shade is perfect to pair with your floral frocks this season.  I scoured the bags on the internet and came up with some of the best totes, hobos and satchels in this feminine buff color.
