It's about "giving back" that has inspired designer Cyndy Esty to create these gorgeous handmade purses. But it's not just her purses that we're raving about, its her continuous efforts of supporting different charities with a portion of her revenue.

 Handbago caught up with handbag designer Marion, of Marion Renee Wearable Art.  She is a truly talented artist and hand paints her handbags; including totes and clutches.  Her mission is to "bring Art to Fashion."

Handbago: You have such a wide assortment of bags in your collection. Tell us about what made you decide to build your own handbag business.

San Diego artist and designer Patricia Kor built her collection of handbags and accessories with the goal to translate art into fashion, producing creative pieces that women can't find anywhere else. The collection showcases handmade leather and canvas handbags manufactured in both Southern California and Argentina. While every Patricia Kor bag is light weight (no sore shoulders or backs!) and shines as a unique work of art, the majority follow a brilliantly colored floral palette that allow her clients to carry the beauty and romance of spring into every season.

Handbago: Your 'Impromptu Canvas Art' line was inspired by one of your original paintings. Tell us a little bit about your background. Did you study art at a university?
