A few weeks ago we featured a great fashion blogger, Becca from Fashionshesays.com.  Her blog features her amazing fashion style and vintage vibe and she's been noticed by Glamour, Chicisimo and Who What Wear Style Stalker.  I loved discovering her blog and decided to contact her for an interview.  I adore this girl's fearless style. She cites Audrey Hepburn as one of her style icons and prefers vintage for everything.

This past week, New York luxury handbag company Nyla Noor debuted their official website and Launch Collection to the world. The Handbago team has waited in anticipation for months to see what was hiding inside that mysterious glowing shopping bag from their previous site layout. Nyla Noor ensured the public that they would produce "arm candy, with a conscience," and that's exactly what they've done.

This past October, Handbago had the privelege of attending the Bagtrends Arm Candy Party in New York City, where we rubbed elbows with some of today's most incredible designers. One of them was Adriana Castro, a Miami based brand responsible for putting dozens of sophisticated and sultry handbags and accessories into the hands of Eva Longoria, Heidi Klum, and Kim Kardashian. Adriana herself was unable to attend the event, but Handbago recently caught up with her to ask how she turned her designer dreams into a fabulous reality.

San Diego artist and designer Patricia Kor built her collection of handbags and accessories with the goal to translate art into fashion, producing creative pieces that women can't find anywhere else. The collection showcases handmade leather and canvas handbags manufactured in both Southern California and Argentina. While every Patricia Kor bag is light weight (no sore shoulders or backs!) and shines as a unique work of art, the majority follow a brilliantly colored floral palette that allow her clients to carry the beauty and romance of spring into every season.

Designer Mariana Goschin knows leather: she grew up watching her father create leather jackets in Romania, and even helped sew the quilted linings into his products. Little did she know that her humble beginnings in design would later bloom into a full-fledged career in fashion. She and her mentor, Richard Elgrichi, co-founded Carla Mancini in 1995, and the brand is quickly growing into one of the hottest names in handbag fashion.

The Handbago team took on the stormy weather in NYC Saturday morning to check out the TUSK, Ltd. Sample Sale. Surrounded by independent clothing and accessory stores in the heart of Chelsea, TUSK immediately catches your eye with its stand out window displays of brightly colored leather products and creative Fall decor. But would the journey through rain soaked NYC be worth it?

 Handbago recently discovered an amazing boutique based out of Madison, Wisconsin.  Atticus Shop opened its doors in May 2008 after owner, Kristin Wild moved back to Wisconsin from New York City.  Not only do they have an established shop on the Capitol Square, they have a successful website, atticusshop.com and blog.  They carry apparel and accessories for men and women and feature up and coming designers, including handbag designer Ashley Watson.
