Janellica Ohanian is a freelance fashion stylist based in Los Angeles, CA, who possesses the rare combination of a professional work ethic and genuine artistry. With an extensive background in commercial advertising and celebrity styling, her keen fashion eye and styling provides an avant-garde perspective and custom designed approach.
Originally from Austin, TX, Janellica began her styling career as a fashion assistant at a boutique agency in the city of Dallas. She then traveled through the deserts out West to make her fashion mark in LA. Through hard work and her willingness to contribute on every aspect of a project, she immediately began styling for various editorial, commercial and celebrity clients including 944, Salon City, Estylo, Statement, Modern Luxury Dallas, The Container Store, Texas Lottery, EMMY magazine and Handbago.com.
In addition to styling, Janellica is also a fashion writer and stylist for the online fashion community, Handbago.com. As Handbago’s featured fashion stylist, she extends her fashion talents, advice, and expertise to a dedicated online audience.
When Janellica is not in the midst of a brainstorm writing session or on the set of a photo shoot, you can find this fashion guru jogging the many canyon roads of Cali, in a warrior pose at her local yoga studio, soaking up rays on Zuma beach, and spending time with her husband Paul and her little yorkie Tex.
Kelly Dixon is a Los Angeles Fashion Designer and Stylist who has worked at top fashion houses in both New York and Los Angeles. A fashion trend researcher and style guru, she is the creative force behind the fashion company Stylish Existence.
Kelly is the former head of research and product development for shoes and handbags at Rock & Republic and has also consulted to several top fashion companies. Along with designing shoes, handbags and other accessories, she is a popular stylist to Hollywood’s fashion-conscious elite, rising stars in the music industry and to regular folks who are searching for a natural, confidence-building style that looks and feels effortless. On occasion she is called upon to lend her talents to television, film and stage projects and most recently applied her fashion skills to television’s reality show “Tough Love” and the TVLand Awards, where she had a delightful time dressing the wonderful Neil Patrick Harris.
Raised in the Chicago area, Kelly is a graduate of the highly respected Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where she earned her BFA Degree in Fashion Design. When she is not designing or styling, she travels regularly to London, Paris, Spain and Italy to monitor emerging fashion trends and to shop, shop, shop. Along the way, she has also studied with top LA fashion stylist Luke Storey and often partners with other top fashion experts on high profile projects for the entertainment and music industries.
Kelly’s first summer job was with Salvatore Ferragamo in New York, where she first fell in love with luxury Italian accessories. She was also fortunate to be involved with several interesting projects for Calvin Klein, Bruno Magli, Perry Ellis and other prominent names in the business. Her favorite designers are Hedi Slimane, John Galliano, Martin Margiela, Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen and Miuccia Prada. She also really appreciates the work of Rodarte, Alexander Wang and Matthew Williamson.
She firmly believes that style comes from within and that attitude is what really pulls a look off, but she also believes style can be learned and practice makes perfect. Kelly’s number one rule is to take a look you like and build on it, never copying it to a “t.” As Oscar Wilde said, “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”
