Launched in 2002 in New York City, Antinous Couture was conceived by its founder Lui Antinous as a vehicle to convey his stylistic vision and to meet the need for versatile and accessible haute couture fashion and accessories. As experience would show, it was the latter that offered a greater measure of versatility and popular accessibility, hence his current line of high-end handbags under his own name. His passion for art and design goes back to early adolescence, at which time he discovered the manifold mediums of art.; As a self-educated artist and designer, Lui has embarked upon his creative career with a strong sense of purpose, curiosity and intuition. Venturing into the fields of painting, illustration, sculpture, fashion design and performance, his experience and skill in these diverse disciplines has enabled him to imbue his creations with an eclectic, sophisticated and erudite sensibility.
