We take very seriously the private nature of your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we treat the information we collect when you visit our site and/or register for our site. Personal Information
Handbago has several email options that members can opt-in to. Handbago does not collect any other personal information that you do not expressly provide. Handbago will never sell, rent or share your personal information, including your e-mail address, with any third parties for marketing purposes without your express permission.

Handbago also collects details of any transactions you carry out through the site including the placement of any orders by you. Handbago reserves the right to release information on Internet Users if compelled to do so by proper judicial or governmental authorities. Activity Associated with Usernames
Your username is displayed throughout Handbago and is therefore available to the public. All of your activity on our sites is traceable to your username. Other users may be able to view your feedback, favorites, collections, ratings and associated comments, and so on. Notices are sent to other community members regarding suspicious activity and policy violations on our sites and refer to username and specific items. Therefore, if you associate your name with your username, the people to whom you have revealed your name will be able to personally identify your Handbago activities.

Agents
Handbago.com may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include sending e-mail, removing repetitive information from user lists, analyzing data, and providing marketing assistance. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

Handbago is affiliated with a variety of businesses and works closely with them. These businesses may operate stores on the Handbago website or sell items to you. Handbago may also provide services or sell products jointly with affiliated businesses. Due to the nature of Handbago's business model, when an affiliated business is associated with your transaction, you will share customer information that is related to such transaction with that affiliated business.
 
Fulfillment
During the purchase process, we will share your information with certain intermediaries (e.g. UPS,  USPS, FedEx, Payment Gateways, Product Manufacturers) strictly to process and ship your order.

Promotional Offers
Sometimes we send offers to select groups of Handbago users on behalf of other businesses. When we do this, we do not give that business your name and e-mail address. If you do not want to receive such offers, please use our User Administration pages to adjust your preferences.
 
Choice/Opt-Out
If we ever send you information via e-mail concerning new products or services that you did not expressly request, we will provide you with an e-mail address by which you may request no future notices.
 
Cookies
Handbago uses cookies to keep track of session IDs. A cookie is a small piece of information stored by a web server on your computer's hard drive. Any cookie in use by our server is temporary and will be removed when the user logs out or is timed-out by the server. Additionally, we record IP addresses to analyze trends and administer the site. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider when you connect to the Internet. IP addresses are NOT linked to any personally identifiable information.

All information described above is stored on restricted database servers.
 
Children
Handbago is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. If you are under 13 years old, you may not submit information about yourself to Handbago.
 
Contests and Sweepstakes
When you enter a contest or other promotion, we may ask you for contact information such as your name, address and e-mail address in order to administer the contest, to send you promotional e-mails, notify winners and make the winners' list publicly available pursuant to certain states' laws. Your consent to such promotional use and disclosure of this information is a condition of your participation. As a condition of receiving any prize, you may be required to complete, execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and where lawful, a Publicity Release, for us to ensure that you are eligible to receive the prize according to the Contest Rules. In cases where the sweepstakes or promotional offer is co-branded with or sponsored by another party, we may share your information, as described in the contest rules, to that party.

If you choose to visit Handbago, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Notice and our Terms and Conditions of Use, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of the law of the state of California. If you have any concern about privacy at Handbago.com, please send us a thorough description via the contact us form, and we will try to resolve it. Our business changes constantly.
