For many years Alok and Merel have been traveling the world, together with their 6 children and "abuelita" Joke.
On these journeys to India, Laos, Mexico, Morocco, Vietnam, Thailand, China and so on, they came across many beautiful handcrafted items made by local tribes, ntive craftsmen and nomads.
Out of love for these vanishing crafts, they started a personal collection of silver ornaments, beads, antique emroideries and it grew from here….
